However, we also realize not everyone is looking for a good ol' kick in the teeth from the evil Imperial Navy. Enter ‘Arcade' mode! Offered alongside our tough-as-old-space-boots ‘Rogue' mode, ‘Arcade' mode permits you to replay failed missions any number of times until you conquer them and are ready to move on. So… it'll be easy?! Pah! Death still looms around every corner, and progress-saves at the end of each mission mean you still have to play it safe. But you're now able to take on each mission with a virtual roll of quarters stacked on the cabinet. It's GALAK-Z with a little less of the stress of permadeath space combat…

Our awesome rogue-lite space shooter is now available for PC, Mac and Linux. This version has a few extra features such as the brand new ‘Arcade' mode, Steam Trophies, mouse and keyboard controls and also more powerfully rendered visuals for those packing graphics card punch (see PC Gamer's articlefor more information about the new features).
